When updated software for a resource connector is available, configure an upgrade window to determine when that upgrade will occur.
Secure Access updates the software on the Resource Connectors in a Connector Group that are deployed in an organization periodically. Administrators can choose to schedule when upgrades occur for the Connector Group by configuring upgrade windows. Otherwise, Secure Access schedules any upgrades automatically on any day of the week. Administrators can configure a date to delay the upgrades for the Connector Group. The calendar enforces the latest allowed resume date shown in the Delay upgrade windows dialog.
These upgrade and delay settings apply only to resource connector software updates and do not include operating system updates for the connector host.
Configuring Upgrade Windows on Connector Groups
To configure when an upgrade occurs, add a single upgrade window or a series of upgrade windows for a Connector Group in your organization. An upgrade window controls the day and time period when Secure Access updates the Resource Connectors in a Connector Group.
You can add a total of 10 upgrade windows for a Connector Group.
Secure Access will use any upgrade windows that you configure to schedule the updates to the connectors in the Connector Group. For each upgrade window, configure the day of the week, start time, and duration. You must choose a time period for the upgrade window that is between one and 24 hours.
For information about setting up upgrade windows, see Add Upgrade Windows for a Connector Group.
Configuring a Delay of Upgrades on Connectors in a Connector Group
To delay the software updates on the Resource Connectors in a Connector Group, configure the date after which Secure Access will schedule the updates. The date that you can choose is between the current date and the time period determined by Secure Access for the updates. For information about setting up a delay, see Add Delay of Upgrades for a Connector Group.
