Provides instructions for completing the Anonymize Devices workflow in Cisco Secure Access. Full admin access to the Secure Access dashboard.

Secure Access provides you with the option of anonymizing mobile devices for reporting and administration purposes. When you anonymize a mobile device, its label is hidden and replaced by your device's serial number. The label name is anonymized in both the Secure Access dashboard and in the Cisco Secure Connector (CSC) app UI. Before completing tasks to register your iOS devices, configure settings so that when you download configuration files these files will include settings to anonymize devices.

Before you begin

Mobile Operating Systems tab with option to confiruge iOS Notification settings
  2. In the iOS Notification settings window, from the Device Identification drop-down list, choose By Serial Number Only and click Save.

If you have anonymized your device, Secure Access hides the device's true label name by replacing it with the device's serial number. Existing active devices anonymize with 24 hours. New devices anonymize immediately.
