Use this task when you need to exclude ABR nodes while entering or exiting the domain to optimize network performance or maintain routing preferences.

Procedure

1.

Open the plan file (refer to Open plan files). It opens in the Network Design page.

2.

From the toolbar, choose Actions > Edit > Node ABR exclusions.

The Node ABR exclusions page opens. The Node column displays the A and Z end. The Exclude node column displays the node that is excluded.

To add an IGP ABR node exclusion:

  1. Click Add icon.

  2. In the Node and Exclude node sections, specify the details of the node and the node that needs to be excluded, respectively.

  3. Save the changes.

To delete an IGP ABR node exclusion:

  1. Select the row that you want to delete.

  2. Click Delete icon.

The IGP ABR node exclusions are configured according to your specifications.
