This task allows you to create a single, plain-text note file for a device to document important information or configuration details.
Use this procedure to create a single, plain-text, note file for a device.
In the left pane, click Security Devices.
Click the Devices tab to locate the device or the Templates tab to locate the model device.
Click the appropriate device type tab.
Select the device or model you want to create a note for.
In the Management pane on the right, click Notes. 
.
Click the editor button on the right and select the Default text editor, Vim, or Emacs text editors.
Edit the Notes page.
Click Save.
The note is saved in the tab.
The device note is successfully created and saved, allowing you to document important information about the device for future reference.
