Use this procedure to view detailed information about your licenses and compliance status of your Secure Firewall ASAs and Cloud-Delivered Firewall Management Center-managed Secure Firewall Threat Defense devices on the Smart Licensing Dashboard.
The Smart Licensing Dashboard displays detailed information about your licenses. The dashboard shows the compliance status (In compliance, Out of compliance, or Unknown), the number of licenses purchased, and the number currently in use, along with the count of active licenses within your tenant. It also displays the type of licenses associated with onboarded devices (Term, Unlicensed, or Perpetual) as well as the start and expiration dates for each term license.
Firepower chassis devices: Licensing for chassis devices is managed on the chassis, not on the ASA.
Multi-context devices in a non-admin context: Licensing for multi-context devices is managed in the admin context, not in a non-admin context.
For these devices, the dashboard displays the licensing status and compliance status as Unknown and excludes them from the In this tenant count.
