FTD dashboard widgets

FTD dashboard widgets are predefined display components that

• provide at-a-glance views of current system status

• display data about events collected and generated by Firewall Threat Defense devices managed FMC, and

• show information about the status and overall health of the devices in your deployment.

A Top Intrusion Rules Widget is a dashboard widget that displays counts of the intrusion events that have occurred over the specified time range and are organized by priority, includes statistics on intrusion events with dropped packets and different impacts, and provides a scrollable generated list.

A Top Intrusion Targets widget is a dashboard component that displays counts of intrusion events for the top target host IP addresses (targeted in the connections causing those events) on your monitored network.

The Malware Events by Disposition widget is a display component that shows counts of all disposition of malware events that are generated when the managed device detects a file containing malware.

The Top Access Control Rules widget is a dashboard component that

• displays the top five counts of the access control rules that are used for each event

• provides sorting capabilities by bytes or events, and

• helps monitor network security policy effectiveness.

The Top Users widget is a network monitoring display that

• displays a list of users on your monitored network that are associated with the highest intrusion event counts

• draws data primarily from the intrusion detection (IDS) User Statistics and Intrusion Events tables, and

• displays authoritative user data.

A Top Users by Blocked Connections widget is a network monitoring tool that displays users who have the highest number of blocked connection events associated with them in your monitored network.

A Top Web Applications widget is a network monitoring interface element that displays the web applications that are associated with the highest number of connection events in your monitored network and allows you to sort this list based on bytes or event count.

A Top Blocked Web Applications widget is a network monitoring display that shows the top web applications that are associated with blocked connection events and the count of blocked connection events in your monitored network.
