Configure device removal by deleting a device from Security Cloud Control Firewall Management.

This task removes a device from your security management platform to free up licensing or decommission unused devices.

Use this procedure when you need to permanently remove a device from your security infrastructure management. The device will no longer be monitored or managed after deletion.

Procedure

  1. From the Security Cloud Control Home page, click Firewall.

  2. Choose Security Devices.

  3. Select the device you want to delete.

  4. Click Remove in the Device Actions pane.

  5. To confirm device removal, click OK.

To keep the device onboarded, click Cancel.
    Note

Both devices in an FDM-managed high-availability (HA) pair must be deleted simultaneously. Click the FDM-managed HA pair name instead of selecting individual peers.

The device is permanently removed from Security Cloud Control Firewall Management and is no longer managed or monitored by the platform.
