The following describes our practices with respect to the Cisco WebEx Telepresence services (the "Service").
Collection and Use of Information
In order to use the Service, you must have a subscription and have your service activated. As part of the subscription registration process, we ask for Personal Information, such as name and email address. In addition, as part of the registration process, you can create a unique WebEx Telepresence video address (email@example.com SIP URI) (collectively "Personal Information"). All of this Personal Information is used to process your registration, set up the Service, and communicate with you about Service features. If you do not provide the requested Personal Information, you will not be able to access or use the Service.
When you use the Service, we may keep track of certain information related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to date, time and length of calls, location of calls placed, frequency of calls, other services used within the Service infrastructure, how frequently you encounter errors on the Service system and other related information ("Other Information"). We use this Other Information to help us quickly and efficiently respond to inquiries and requests, and to enhance or administer our overall Service for our customers. We may also use this Other Information for traffic analysis (for example, determining when the most customers are using the Service) and to determine which features within the Service are most or least effective or useful to you. In addition, we may periodically transmit system information to our servers in order to optimize your overall experience with the Service. We may share aggregated and anonymous user experience information with service providers, contractors or other third parties to assist us with improving the Service and user experience, but any shared information will be consistent with Cisco's overall Privacy Statement and will not identify you personally in any way.
Access to and Updating Your Personal Information
You have the ability to edit or update your Personal Information by logging on to the WebEx Telepresence Customer Portal https://myaccount.telepresence.webex.com. From the portal you have the ability to modify your preference to receive emails about products and offerings from Cisco and its family of companies and from Cisco-approved business partners.
Storage and Security of Personal Information
Our servers automatically record certain information about your use of this Service, such as account activity (e.g., storage usage, number of log-ins, actions taken (like initiation and termination of video calls)) and other log information. They also retain Personal Information such as the user's name, company, country and email address, and other information uploaded, provided or created such as personal video address.
Sharing Your Personal Information
It is your responsibility to safeguard your WebEx Telepresence video address - and limit access to it to those you can trust. However, if your employer subscribes to this Service, your Personal Information may be made available to your employer. Moreover, we have no control over, and are not responsible or liable for, the privacy of any content that you have shared with others.
Future Features and Services
Cisco WebEx Telepresence software is updated from time to time to provide additional features, address technical issues, and generally make your user-experience better. We may add to or upgrade the Service to provide you with new features on an ongoing basis. We may also make available new services in the future. New services provided by third parties or service providers will be governed by the privacy policies of the respective third party or service provider.
When you use the Service, you are subject to the applicable Cisco WebEx Telepresence Terms of Service.
