Describes the IP aging policy, which identifies and ages out inactive endpoint IP addresses, and explains how to configure the policy using the GUI.

IP aging policy

Describes the IP aging policy mechanism that tracks and removes unused IP addresses on an endpoint. This policy ensures efficient address management by monitoring ARP and neighbor solicitation responses within bridge domains.

Configure the IP aging policy using the GUI

Enables or disables the IP aging policy to manage endpoint tracking within the system settings. This procedure allows administrators to toggle the administrative state of the IP aging feature.
