Any Cisco partner can sell the service programs discussed
in this module as long as they have signed a Cisco Brand Services
Resale Exhibit. Please note that the Cisco Brand Resale program
will be discussed in greater detail in module 8.
Cisco 2-tier resellers who purchase Cisco products through
distribution can also purchase and resell these Technical
Support Services programs as packaged services.
These packaged services provide the same deliverables as
the standard programs available to partners through the Cisco
Brand Resale program. The only difference is packaged services
are purchased through distribution instead of through a program
like Cisco Brand Resale.
If you are a Cisco 2-tier reseller, Cisco packaged services
are available to you through your local authorized Cisco distributor.
Most resellers place orders with their distributors for these
service programs via fax, telephone, or directly using the
distributor’s website. Please contact your local
distributor for additional information on service availability,
pricing, and how to place orders for Cisco packaged services.
Be sure to have the part number, serial number number (if
available), the address where the device will be located,
and the delivery time option you or your customer is requesting.
