Cisco Spaces: Space Utilization

Space Utilization provides detailed utilization metrics for individual rooms. The campus, building, and floor views continue to display aggregate room utilization metrics that you can use to compare rooms.

The room level metrics are available as a Tab "Rooms" under the Floor View and it includes these summary metrics:

• Room Utilization

• Peak Room Utilization

• Peak Occupancy

The Room View also includes detailed charts such as:

• Daily Utilization

• Room Utilization by Time of Day

• Room Utilization by Day of Week

• Room Occupancy by Occupant Count

• Room Occupancy by Booking Status

The interactive, color-coded floor map displays the average and peak utilization for each room. Use the map to compare rooms and identify utilization patterns.

Note	Room Metric View requires an active PREMIER_W or PREMIER_CW license.

Cisco Spaces: Space Experience

Consistent Default Map Views for Space Experience Signage

Cisco Spaces now uses the default map view configured for a Digital Map when you create a new signage configuration in Space Experience. This change provides a consistent map view across signages and reduces the need to configure each signage separately.

Using Default Map View

For new signage configurations, Override the Default Map View is disabled by default. The signage automatically uses the default map view configured for the selected building or floor, including the map position, pitch, bearing, and zoom.

To configure or update the default map view:

• Choose Setup > Locations and Maps > Digital Maps.

• Locate the required building or floor.

• In the Actions column, click the More Options icon and choose Set default map view.

• Adjust the map view and click Save.

If a particular signage requires a different map view, enable Override the Default Map View while configuring the signage in Space Experience. Next, define the signage-specific map position, pitch, bearing, and zoom.

Note	Existing signage configurations continue to use their previously saved map views. To use the default map view for an existing signage, edit its configuration and disable Override the Default Map View.

Cisco Spaces: Data Exports

Visits Export now includes an Include PII toggle in the Create Export and Edit Export workflows. Use this toggle to specify whether the User Name and MAC Address fields are included in exported visit data.

The toggle is enabled by default. When enabled, Visits Export files include the User Name and MAC Address fields. When disabled, the generated export excludes these fields. This update supports Visits Export configurations with or without PII.
