What's New in this Release

There are no new features in this release of Cisco Spaces.

What's Changed in this Release

The following enhancements are made in Cisco Spaces beta UI:

Cisco Spaces Dashboard

In the Home page, click a featured app card to open the overview drawer instead of launching the app directly.

OpenRoaming App

The OpenRoaming Android app is redesigned to improve user experience with these updates:

  • App rebranding: The OpenRoaming app is now renamed as the Cisco Spaces OpenRoaming App, reflecting expanded capabilities and a commitment to seamless connectivity.

  • Google Sign-In: You can now sign in quickly and securely using your Google account within the app, removing the need to remember an additional password.

  • Simplified experience: The user interface is cleaned up and redesigned for easier onboarding, featuring a streamlined sign-up flow, and improved navigation to help you connect faster with fewer steps.

    Region update: With this enhancement, you can use the More > Region feature to switch to a different region. After you change the region, you are automatically logged out of the app. The new region update takes effect after your next login.

  • Dark mode: A new dark theme reduces eye strain in low-light environments and conserves battery life on supported devices.

Platform Enhancements

This release includes a persistent database system upgrade that improves Cisco Spaces performance while increasing reliability and efficiency.
