What's New in this Release

There are no new features in this release of Cisco Spaces.

What's Changed in this Release

This enhancement is made in the Cisco Spaces beta UI:

Dashboard

These changes are available in the new dashboard UI (React dashboard):

  • The SEE and ACT licenses are renamed as ESSENTIAL and ADVANTAGE, respectively.

  • The location-level license is now shown beside each location in the Location Hierarchy tree for Cisco Spaces accounts registered with smart licensing.

Partner Dashboard

A new enhancement is available in Partner Dashboard’s Trace Firehose. You can now define a specific start time and duration (in minutes) for historical data downloads, limited to the preceding 24-hour period. This enhancement provides increased control and accuracy for data access.

Cisco Spaces Firehose API

This release streamlines and standardizes terminology by updating inferred location type values in Cisco Spaces events and APIs. Specifically, the inferredLocationTypes field in event payloads is updated as follows:

  • CMXZONE and MERAKIZONE is consolidated as ZONE

  • ORG (Meraki networks) is updated as MERAKI

If you use the inferredLocationTypes field in your integrations or data processing, update the logic to reflect the new values.

Note

There are no additional changes to the event or API structure.
