What's New in this Release
There are no new features in this release of Cisco Spaces.
The documentation set for this product strives to use bias-free language. For the purposes of this documentation set, bias-free is defined as language that does not imply discrimination based on age, disability, gender, racial identity, ethnic identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and intersectionality. Exceptions may be present in the documentation due to language that is hardcoded in the user interfaces of the product software, language used based on RFP documentation, or language that is used by a referenced third-party product. There are no new features in this release of Cisco Spaces.
Partner Firehose API Enhancements
The Firehose API is updated to optimize the app activation workflow by sending only the delta changes in the LOCATION_CHANGE event.
The updates include:
ChangeType: REMOVE: Sent to all previously activated locations that are no longer part of the current activation.
ChangeType: ADD: Sent to all newly activated locations that were not part of the previous activation.
Additionally, both the App Activation event and the Health API are enhanced to include the following new parameters:
appId: The identifier for the app.
region: The region associated with the app.
Issues describe unexpected behavior in the Cisco Spaces application.
