What's New in this Release

These new features are introduced in Cisco Spaces.

Cisco Spaces: OpenRoaming

The new OpenRoaming Monitoring dashboard provides a centralised view of onboarding and authentication activity across OpenRoaming deployments. The dashboard presents key metrics, trends, and detailed data to help users monitor activity and investigate connectivity issues.

Users can filter the dashboard by identity provider, and they can view data for the past 8 hours, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. They can also select a realm to access its onboarding and authentication details.

Key insights include:

  • Successful and failed device onboarding.

  • Accepted, rejected, and timed-out authentication requests.

  • Authentication request trends for the selected time range.

  • Request details by realm.

  • Request activity by network or controller and network type.

What's Changed in this Release

Cisco Spaces: Dashboard

These enhancements are included in Cisco Spaces dashboard.

Cisco Spaces now prevents deletion of a location, or its child's locations, when they are associated with an active partner activation. A clear message explains why the deletion cannot continue.

This safeguard helps preserve partner data delivery and protects activation references from accidental location removal.

Locations & Maps

Map Services has been consolidated into the Locations & Maps experience, giving customers a single place to manage locations, network maps, and digital maps. Map imports previously handled under Map Services are now available directly within this unified experience.

To access the updated experience, navigate to Setup > Legacy Items > Map Service. Locations & Maps opens with a 'Section merged' notification confirming the change.

Previously uploaded maps remain accessible from the Building section under the Network Maps tab in Locations & Maps.
