What's Changed in this Release

Cisco Spaces Dashboard

These enhancements are made in the Cisco Spaces dashboard.

Space Experience App

In the Space Experience App, the signage edit workflow has been enhanced with a Preview feature, allowing users to review how the signage will appear before publishing changes.

The preview now displays the selected signage type, building and floor location, updated latitude and longitude, configured widgets, map view settings, and Where Am I updates. This enables users to review configurations and ensure accuracy prior to publishing.

Signage

  • Upgraded the room occupancy detection mechanism by replacing the previous method, which combined PeoplePresence and PeopleCountOutOfCall metrics, with the more reliable RoomInUse attribute.

  • This change significantly increases occupancy detection accuracy, ensuring data better reflects real-time room usage.

Partner Firehose

This enhancement is made in the Cisco Spaces Partner Firehose.

Added support for PM2.5 (Mass Concentration) data in Firehose IOT_TELEMETRY events for customers connected to Cisco Spaces through Cisco Meraki networks. With this enhancement, you can leverage enhanced air quality monitoring capabilities and gain deeper environmental insights.
