What's Changed in this Release

The following enhancements are made in the Cisco Spaces dashboard beta UI:

Cisco Spaces: Space Utilization App

  • Location-specific Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Location-specific role-based access control is introduced for the Space Utilization App in the Cisco Spaces dashboard.

By default, Cisco Spaces dashboard administrators have access to the app and can assign read-write or read-only access for specific locations. These permissions can be assigned for specific locations while inviting a user or can modify later using the User Management section.

  • Split License: The Space Utilization App is enhanced to support Split Licensing. With this license change, you'll gain access to experience higher-tier license features in the Space Utilization App.

    Note

The Split License feature is available only for accounts registered with the Cisco Smart Software Manager (CSSM) system and integrated with Cisco Spaces account by registering the Smart Licensing token with the Cisco Spaces dashboard. If your account is not registered with CSSM, we recommend reaching out to your account administrator.

The following enhancement is made in the Cisco Spaces dashboard:

Cisco Spaces: Connector

With this release, the support to create a new Cisco Spaces connector using Connector 2.x version is deprecated.

The Create Connector pop up window no longer permits the selection of Connector 2.x, as the radio button option is disabled. You can now create connectors exclusively using the Connector 3.x options.
