What's New in this Release

The following new features are introduced in Cisco Spaces:

Cisco Spaces: Partner Firehose

Two new Partner Firehose events called Space Occupancy and Space Occupancy Change are introduced in Cisco Spaces.

  • Space Occupancy: This event triggers at 15-minute intervals with occupancy information for a space, which can be a meeting room or a workstation; however, only meeting rooms are supported at this time. The event includes the presence of people, peak count of people (if the associated sensor supports people counting) observed in the space during the 15-minute interval, meeting room booking status, details about the space, along with metadata and hierarchy information.

  • Space Occupancy Change: This event triggers whenever there is a change in the occupancy of a space, which can be a meeting room or a workstation; however, only meeting rooms are supported at this time. This includes changes in presence or the count of people (if the associated sensor supports people counting) detected in the space. Additionally, the event provides details about the space, meeting room booking status, along with metadata and hierarchy information.
