This document describes how to configure and use Squirrel Structured Query Language (SQL) Client to browse the Cisco Customer Voice Portal (CVP) Reporting Database.

The information in this document is based on these softwares:
Squirrel SQL Client, Download the Squirrel client from here
Java Virtual Machine must be at least 1.6 to run Squirrel 3.x and above
Informix JDBC driver. Download the latest IBM drivers from here

The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
The steps to install and configure Squirrel SQL Client:
Step 1. Download and install Squirrel SQL Client.
Step 2. Select the default installation Path: C:\Progam Files\squirrel-sql-3.4.0. 3.4.0 will be the version of Squirrel that you install.
Step 3. Enable the Informix Driver - From the Select the Packs you want to install page, Scroll down on the Optional Plugins and Select Informix.
Step 4. Complete Squirrel installation and Run Squirrel.
Tip: Squirrel may not start when you use Java Virtual Machine (JVM )1.8.
Step 5. You may see an error "Your Java Virtual Machine must be at least 1.6 to run Squirrel 3.x and above JVM Vesion used: 1.8.0-ea". If you recieve this error you will need to modify these files, If you do not see this error skip this step.
