A third benefit of the Cisco Shared Support Program is that it rewards you based on your performance against defined metrics.

Within the Cisco Shared Support program, you are rewarded for your investment (in qualified personnel, training, and efficiency) to become certified by Cisco, and for the quality and coverage of service you provide under Cisco Shared Support. Discounts are linked to performance metrics that reflect your organization’s skills and investment.

Additionally, in order to remain eligible in the Cisco Shared Support program, you must meet ongoing performance metrics. These metrics not only include price discounts, but they also help you sustain differentiation in the marketplace and help ensure that your customers receive a continuum of consistent, high-quality service.
