Module 8: Partner Technical Support Services

Contract Management

Through the Cisco Brand Resale program, you have immediate, electronic access to the data and systems required to manage your Cisco service contract business from your desktop.

Cisco offers a variety of tools that enable you to do everything from creating quotes and ordering service products to managing your customers, service portfolios and renewing their contracts.

For example, the Service Contract Center (SCC) allows you to proactively manage your service coverage by enabling you to view the Cisco contracts database.

By working online in this way, you streamline internal processes and reduce the sale cycle time, resulting in increased service revenue, improved customer satisfaction, and lowered costs.

Note: The Service Contract Center (SCC) will be discussed in greater detail in Module 11, Business Tools and Processes.
