Module 8: Partner Technical Support Services
Partner Technical Support Services Portfolio
Cisco has historically had programs that enable qualified Cisco
partners who purchase directly from Cisco, to sell their own brand
of service while leveraging the Cisco infrastructure. These programs
were amendments to the Cisco System Integrator Agreement, enabling
these partners to sell their brand under the appropriate services
program.
In response to partner feedback and to provide customers with a
value-based choice, the Cisco Customer Advocacy (CA) organization
has announced the end of life of the SIS98 program, and is replacing
it with a partner technical support services portfolio.
The Cisco Systems Partner Technical Support Services portfolio
is designed to provide Cisco qualified partners who have invested
in Cisco technology, with opportunities to help differentiate their
services in the market while delivering customer support.
With the Partner Technical Support Service portfolio, partners
have access to Cisco technology experts, award-winning Web-based
support tools, software support and updates, Cisco industry leadership,
and more.
The Partner Technical Support Services portfolio provides your
customer with a value-based offering and increases customer loyalty
and satisfaction through two programs:

Cisco Shared Support: Cisco
Shared Support is a service program for Gold and Silver certified
partners that meet the high standards of the Cisco Shared Support
eligibility requirements and ongoing performance criteria, demonstrating
their ability to sell, renew, and deliver high-quality service
under their own brand. |

Cisco Brand Resale for Technical
Support Service: Cisco Brand Resale is a service program through
which partners can resell Cisco brand service offerings. Cisco
Brand Resale is for qualified partners that prefer to use Cisco
technical support teams and support-logistics infrastructure
to enrich their portfolios. |
