Product and Feature Support Features |
The Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(5)YD will support the following platforms:
Feature Description Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1(5)YD is an XED release optimized for the Cisco IAD2400 Series Business Class Integrated Access Device, Cisco 2600 and Cisco 3600 Series Routers, IOS Telephony Services - IP Keyswitch. Survivable Remote Site Telephony Enterprise customers wishing to deploy IP telephony at their branch offices using a centralized CallManager architecture are very interested in call-processing redundancy capabilities at these remote sites. Such redundancy ensures negligible impact to the business in case a Wide Area Network outage prevents the centralized CallManager from being able to process telephony requests from IP phones at the branch office. The Survivable Remote Site Telephony feature integrates call processing capability directly into OS, enabling the Cisco 2600 or 3600 series router at the branch office to provide telephony redundancy. Note: The features delivered with this XED release will be immediately incorporated into Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(3)T and subsequent Cisco IOS 12.2T releases. |
