Install Crosswork Network Controller applications
This section explains how to install application on the Crosswork Network Controller UI.
The Crosswork Network Controller applications are offered in various tiers and each tier contains crosswork applications in a particular format unique to Crosswork known as CAPP (Crosswork APPlication). As a first step, you must download the relevant Crosswork Network Controller tier CAPP from cisco.com and then proceed to install the applications which are part of the downloaded CAPP file.

Step 1 |
Download the CAPP files: Navigate to cisco.com and download the signed Crosswork Network Controller tier CAPP that you require to a directory in your machine. For the purpose of these instructions, we will use the file name cnc-advantage-7.1.0-46.tar.gz-250625.tar.gz. |

(Optional) CAPP files are automatically validated in the backend when you add them to the Crosswork Network Controller UI. If the upload fails, you can manually extract and validate the CAPP file using these steps: |

Add the CAPP file to Crosswork Network Controller UI: |

Step 4 |
Install the Application CAPP file: |

Step 5 |
Repeat step 3 for installing any remaining applications. |

Step 7 |
Once an application (or all applications) have been installed, check the health of the environment to make sure all the applications are healthy. It can take up to an hour for all the processes to launch and for the applications to report as healthy. If a newly installed application is not healthy after an hour, contact the Cisco Customer Experience team. |
