Q. What happens to existing calls if I move an MCU or system in TMS?

A. As long as your network uses alias dialing, and you do not change the system's aliases, no changes are required beyond opening the MCU or system in Systems > Navigator and updating the Connection Settings.

If you do change the system's aliases, you must update the bookings of any future calls that the system is a part of:

  1. Update the system.

  2. Refresh it in TMS so that TMS will reflect the new aliases for the system.

  3. Go to Booking > List Conferences.

  4. Use the Filter Systems feature to list all future conferences that include the modified system.

  5. Edit each conference, and open the Connection Settings tab of the conference. The call route of the conference will then be updated with the system's new aliases.

  6. Click Save to close the conference.

  7. Repeat the last steps for all future conferences that the system is a part of.
