Module 6: Hardware Replacement

Review Questions

You are on a sales call talking with a prospect about Advance Replacement. The customer has just stated that he does not see the value of Advance Replacement since he already has an IT staff and spares in his warehouse.

His question to you is, “Why would I want two service agreements that have the same entitlements?”

How would you respond?

Select the best answer from the choices below.

A. "You are right, your current warranty is the same with the exception that the service agreement would extend coverage for a year. Your warranty will end next month since it is only a 90-day coverage."
B. "No, the Advance Replacement service is much more than the warranty. With Advance Replacement, you select from a range of four delivery hardware replacement options to chose from – all of which are faster delivery options than the delivery provided by your warranty. Parts are also immediately sent out to you before we receive your defective part."
C. "Absolutely not. The Advance Replacement service would rapidly dispatch your replacement part within the Next Business Day or a four- hour response time."
D. "No, they are not the same all. You have the choice of four delivery response time options. The only similarity is that you have first send your defective part before we can ship your replacement to you."
