Module 1: Cisco Service Expert Program Curriculum Overview

What Is Cisco Service Expert Program?

The Cisco Service Expert Program is an e-learning curriculum designed to educate Cisco partners and resellers on the value associated with selling service contracts on Cisco equipment to customers.

For account managers, service managers, and other reseller sales employees, learning how to sell and position services with your customers is an important skill you can use to:

Provide customers with up-to-date, valuable information and resources they need to keep their networks operating at peak efficiency.
Increase the amount of your individual sales – and your individual earnings.
Open new opportunities to sell additional services in new and emerging markets – increasing your company’s total revenue in a cost-conscious global economy.
Position yourself as a Cisco “service expert” who has the knowledge and information to quickly address customers’ issues and concerns.
Offer your customers a cost-effective support plan that will help them avoid charges associated with time and materials transactions that could occur over time as a result of not having a service contract in place.
Reduce the amount of time and stress spent helping customers resolve technical issues that could be taken care of by relying on a world-class support organization.
