This section explains the available boot options for Cisco NCS 1001 and their sequence.
A boot sequence is a system startup process that
-
determines the order in which boot sources are selected,
-
allows multiple options for local and remote boot methods, and
-
ensures the system loads an available image for operation.
Cisco NCS 1001 supports three primary boot sources:
-
SSD ( hard disk)
-
USB drive
-
iPXE
If no bootable image is available from any boot option, reboot the system and verify the available image source.
