Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) for Enterprise WAN interconnect remote-site LANs to a primary-site LAN or data center. These designs include technologies such as Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Layer 2 WAN, and VPN WAN over the Internet. Additionally, these designs support multiple resiliency options depending on the operational requirements of the remote sites.

Regardless of the technology used, these WAN designs provide users with connectivity to the applications they need to do their job. The designs support network access for wired and wireless users in remote sites. It doesn’t matter whether they are only a few workers in a small office or they number 5,000 in a large enterprise branch office.

Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) provide system designs based on common use cases or current engineering system priorities. They incorporate a broad set of technologies, features, and applications to address customer needs.
