Configuring of Your Inbound Email Servers
Connection Manager
Step 1
In ScanCenter, click the Email tab to display the Email menus.
Step 2
In the Inbound menu, click Connection Mgr to display the connetion manager page.
Step 3
Click Edit.
Step 4
Ensure the Email Bomb, Directory Harvest Attack, Virous OutBreak, and Spam Attack check boxes are selected.

Step 5
Select the Sensitivity, typically Normal, for each threat response.
Step 6
Select the 500 Error Returned, typically 550 mailbox unavailable.
Step 7
Click Submit to accept your changes.
Delivery Manager
The next step is to configure your primary and fail-over mail servers.
Step 1
In the Inbound menu, click Delivery Mgr to display the delivery manager page..
Step 2
Click Edit.
Step 3
Input your primary email exchange server addresses in either DNS name or IP address and enter the percentage of load balancing.

Step 4
Click Submit to accept your changes.
Spooling Manager
Step 1
In the Inbound menu, click Spool Mgr to display the spool manager page.
Step 2
Click Edit.
Step 3
Amend the spooling settings as desired. However, Cisco recommends the settings shown below for optimum spooling performance when required.

Step 4
Click Submit to accept your changes.
Alerts
The administrator can have alerts sent to them which are configured from this screen.
Step 1
In the Inbound menu, clock Alerts to display the alerts page.
Step 2
Select the required check boxes.

Click Click here to Configure.

Step 4
Enter a name for the recipient of alert messages and email address of mobile device or alternative email address.
Step 5
Click Submit to accept your changes.
