About Cisco Regional Clouds

If events are configured to be sent to the Cisco Security Cloud, they are sent to the Current Regional Cloud selected. Cisco uses this regional cloud to send the data generated by other integrated Cisco Security Cloud services such as the Cisco Success Network, Cisco Support Diagnostics, Cisco XDR, and Talos eventing solutions. Additionally, the Current Regional Cloud setting governs the cloud region for the Secure Network Analytics and Security Analytics and Logging (SaaS).

When you integrate your management center with Cisco Security Cloud, the Current Regional Cloud setting helps in designating the cloud tenancy to which the management center gets registered with. If you have already registered the management center with Smart License, the regional cloud selected by default will correspond to your Smart Licensing region. In such scenario, you don't have to change the region.

The following table describes the Cisco cloud regions and their corresponding URLs.

You cannot merge or aggregate data in different regional clouds. If you need to aggregate data from multiple regions, devices in all regions must send data to the same regional cloud.
