Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) Adapter
The
Cisco NSO adapter is used for provisioning of services using Cisco NSO. It has
no discovery capabilities. It can be used with an existing external NSO
instance and an internal NSO instance.
The NSO instance must be configured properly. The NSO adapter needs
to be assigned to the devices in Device Manager, for the Services Manager
application to be able to provision services using NSO. The
NSO adapter is capable of provisioning only, you must use another adapter (such as IOS-XR or CNC) to
collect information about the relevant routers to ensure that provisioning has
been successful.

IP-Link create timeout |
The IP-link creation involves a complex mechanism which requires a
longer timeout setting to complete the provisioning process. The IP-Link
create timeout value must be coordinated with the timeout value in the
Services Manager application, otherwise the Services Manager application will
give a timeout error on the create request. |

It may take some time for Crosswork Hierarchical Controller to recognize that a
service has been provisioned. In such cases, changing the cycle time of the
cross mapper can reduce the time taken by the system to recognize the new
service.
