Describes how to configuration server maintenance windows for Cisco SD-WAN Manager, to determine scheduled downtime.
Before you begin
Perform these steps to set or cancel the start and end times and the duration of the maintenance window for the Cisco SD-WAN Manager server.
Procedure
| 1. | From the Cisco SD-WAN Manager menu, choose . |

| 2. | Click Maintenance Window. If you are using Cisco IOS XE Catalyst SD-WAN Release 17.12.x or earlier, click Maintenance Window and then click Edit. To cancel the maintenance window, click Cancel. |

| 3. | Click the Start Date and Start Time drop-down list. Select the date and time when the Maintenance Window will start. |

| 4. | From Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager Release 20.18.x, you can set the Lead Time (in days) for when the Pre-Maintenance Alert message should pop up. The default Lead Time is 2 days. |

| 5. | From Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager Release 20.18.x, you can enter banner information text of maximum 256 characters for the Pre-Maintenance Alert, which is displayed prior to the maintenance time period. |

| 6. | From Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager Release 20.18.x, you can enable the Active-Maintenance Alert. Enter banner information text here of maximum 256 characters, which is displayed during the specified maintenance window. The Active-Maintenance Alert is disabled by default.

| 7. | Click Save. The start and end times and the duration of the maintenance window are displayed in the Maintenance Window bar. Two days before the start of the window, the Cisco SD-WAN Manager Dashboard displays a maintenance window alert notification. |
