Configure self-signed certificates

Overview

Use this procedure to configure self-signed certificates for high availability AppServer communications in Cisco IoT FND. This setting allows the application to use self-signed certificates instead of default custom certificates to facilitate secure communication between HA server nodes.

This task guides you to configure self-signed certificates for HA AppServer communications instead of the default custom certificates.

Procedure

1.

From the Cisco IoT FND menubar, choose ADMIN > Certificates.
2.

Click Server Settings tab.
3.

Check the Allow self-signed certificate for High Availability AppServer Communications check-box to allow self-signed certificates for HA AppServer communications.
