Overview
Use this procedure to export OVF files from a virtual machine or vApp using VMware vSphere. This process allows you to create a portable package of the virtual machine or vApp for backup, migration, or deployment purposes.
Before you begin
An OVF template captures the state of a virtual machine or vApp into a self-contained package. The disk files are stored in a compressed sparse format.
