The purpose of this document is to detail the process of checking the format of a video.
Q. How to check the format of a video to match it against the supported Digital Media Player (DMP) 4400 or 4310 formats?
A. There are times when you need to find out the format of a video so that you can match it against the supported sheet of the DMPs.
This document will show you how to determine the video format of a video using free software called MediaInfo:

You can open a video and it will show you the video format. Please look under the general section where the arrow is pointing towards.

In the above example you see that the video format is MPEG-4 Version 2 which matches a supported video codec, MPEG4 Part 2
as listed in the Video and Audio codecs under Product Specifications table listed below.
