Installing Cisco Unity Express Script Editor
This chapter describes how to install the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor application.
Prerequisites
Install one of the following operating systems:
•Windows NT (Workstation or Server) with Service Pack 4 or later
•Windows 2000 (Professional or Server)
•Windows XP Professional
Note Do not install the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor application on hardware on which you previously installed the Cisco Customer Response Applications Developer (CRA) Editor application. These applications share registry files and will not work if installed on the same hardware.
Procedure
Follow these steps to install the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor software:
Step 1 Download the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor software at the following URL on Cisco.com (registration required):
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl?topic=278535672
Select the specific Cisco Unity Express 2.1 version you are using (Cisco Unity Express Release 2.1.1, 2.1.2, or 2.1.3).
Alternatively, you can install the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor from the Cisco Unity Express Application Software CD.
Step 2 Double-click the executable Cisco Unity Express Script Editor file. The filename will be similar to CUEEditorx.x.x.exe, where x.x.x is the release that you are installing.
The InstallShield Wizard appears and begins extracting files for the installation. (This process may take a few minutes.)
Step 3 At the Welcome prompt, click Next.
The Software License Agreements dialog box appears.
Step 4 Read the software license agreements, then click Yes.
The Choose Destination Location dialog box appears.
Step 5 Do one of the following:
•Click Next to accept the default directory option, C:\Program Files\wfavvid.
The Select Program Folder dialog box appears.
•Perform the following procedure to choose a different destination:
–Click Browse.
The Choose Folder dialog box appears.
–Browse to the desired location, and then click OK.
The Choose Folder dialog box closes, and the destination appears in the Choose Destination Location dialog box.
–Click Next.
The Select Program Folder dialog box appears.
Step 6 In the Select Program Folder dialog box, do one of the following to add program icons to the program folder:
•Accept the default location.
•Type the name of the new folder.
•From the list of folders, choose the folder in which you want to store the program icons.
Step 7 Click Next.
The Start Copying Files dialog box appears.
Step 8 Do one of the following:
•To change any of your previous choices, click Back, make the desired changes, return to the Start Copying Files dialog box, and click Finish.
•If you accept all your choices, click Finish.
The InstallShield Wizard closes, and the Cisco Unity Express Script Editor is installed at the indicated destination.
