Use this procedure to create a single, plain-text, note file for a device.
In the left pane, click Security Devices.
Click the Devices tab to locate the device or the Templates tab to locate the model device.
Click the appropriate device type tab.
Select the device or model you want to create a note for.
In the Management pane on the right, click Notes. .
Click the editor button on the right and select the Default text editor, Vim, or Emacs text editors.
Edit the Notes page.
Click Save.
