Out-of-band AP image download |
The wireless controller pushes the image to the APs after the image is distributed to it. Catalyst Center allows image download on APs from the wireless controller, over HTTPS. This out-of-band file transfer efficiently upgrades the AP image. Refer to Access point image transfer. |

Reset CA certificate |
The reset CA feature allows you to manage CA during renewal issues or expiration. You can create sub CAs with a defined lifetime. This feature allows you to reset the CA easily when a sub CA expires or when you want to switch to another sub CA. Refer to Reset CA certificate. |

Site-based, role-based access control support |
You can create custom roles for site users, enabling precise allocation of read/write access to Field Notices, EoX Status, Security Advisories, Network Bug Identifier, and Network Reasoner. |
