Use this procedure to switch from the XR console to the System Admin console on NCS 1004 to perform system administration and hardware management tasks that require System Admin mode.

All system administration and hardware management setup is performed from the System Admin console.

Procedure

Press Ctrl+O to disconnect from the XR console and connect to the System Admin console.

System Admin Username: root
