Cisco UCS Management Ecosystem

Extending Ansible automation to Cisco UCS and HyperFlex

You can use Ansible to deploy and provision your Cisco Unified Computing System™ (Cisco UCS®) servers, storage, fabric, Cisco HyperFlex™ hyperconverged infrastructure, and converged infrastructure. The integration of Cisco UCS management with Ansible enables IT administrators and DevOps teams to orchestrate all the steps needed to set up a physical infrastructure.

Cisco UCS management also supports a wide range of Cisco and third-party infrastructure, making it easy to reduce or eliminate manual and repetitive activities. The unified API and software object model work in conjunction with the Cisco fabric interconnect to treat the infrastructure as code. Cisco has worked with a broad range of partners to develop tightly integrated management solutions. You can customize and extend your existing IT investments in:

  • IT service management (ITSM) and IT operations management (ITOM)
  • Orchestration and automation
  • Configuration, deployment, and compliance
