End-of-Sale Announcement for
Cisco Secure Scanner (Netsonar)Introduction
Cisco is announcing the end of sale (EOS) of the standalone Cisco Secure Scanner (formerly NetSonar) vulnerability assessment product. There will be no further feature development or vulnerability updates for the standalone product. Cisco considers the collaboration between vulnerability assessment technologies and other security technologies to be paramount and is refocusing development efforts to pursue integration of this important technology into future management applications.
