EOS/EOL Milestones
Cisco BBSM Version 5.1 successfully offered proven end-to-end networking solutions that enable high-speed Internet access services to multiunit building and public spaces. Cisco BBSM Version 5.2 offers new features that not only improve the product's functionality and usability, but also meet the needs of clients in new markets. Enhancements from BBSM Version 5.1 include better support for handheld devices (SDK), improved Switch Discovery Wizard functionality, and Load Balancing (ReferenceDesign). Cisco has developed new packaging and eliminated port licensing—in addition to lowering the price by almost 40 percent. If your customers are using the BBSM Version 5.1, please transition these customers to Cisco BBSM Version 5.2.
