CWM and SCM End of Sale
and End of Maintenance

Cisco Systems is announcing the End of Sale and End of Maintenance of select (BPX and IGX) switch software and Cisco WAN Manager (CWM) and Stats Collection Manager (SCM) versions 9.1.x. CWM, SCM and SV, with an effective date of February 16, 2001. Cisco customers will continue to receive Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support currently planned for a period of two years after the End of Sale (EOS) and End of Maintenance (EOM) announcement date.

Definitions

End of Sale

After this milestone date, the software release may no longer be ordered. Releases which reach this milestone are still available through CCO for customers under maintenance contract or for Customer Service Engineering (CSE) support until they reach the "End of Life" milestone.

End of Maintenance

The milestone date after which no maintenance releases will be produced for the major release. Releases which reach this milestone are still available through CCO for customers under maintenance contract or for CSE support until they reach the "End of Life" milestone.

Last Shipment

All backlog should be cleared prior to this date, or converted to a newer software.

End of Support

Support for this software will cease after this date.
