Cisco WAN Manager
Version 10.4.01Overview
With the announcement of General Availability of Cisco WAN Manager (CWM) 10.4.10, the Multiservice Switching Business Unit (MSSBU) of Cisco Systems is announcing the End of Life (EOL) of CWM 10.4.01, with an effective date of September 17, 2001. Cisco customers will continue to receive software support for a period of two years until October 17, 2003.
After October 17, 2001, CWM 10.4.01 will no longer be orderable from Cisco Connection Online (CCO) or Cisco Marketplace. CWM 10.4.01 will be replaced by CWM 10.4.10. Service-affecting bugs found in CWM 10.4.01 will be resolved in CWM 10.4.10 and subsequent releases. Since CWM 10.4.10 is a superset of all prior CWM 10.x releases, all features supported by CWM releases 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4 and 10.4.01 are also supported in CWM 10.4.10. Customers are encouraged to upgrade any release 10.x systems to 10.4.10 as soon as possible.
CWM 10.4.10 can be used to manage the following product releases:

Cisco MGX 8850 Software Release 2.0.1x
•
Cisco BPX® 8600 Software Release 9.3.1x, 9.2.x, 9.1.x

Cisco IGX™ 8400 Software Release 9.3.1x, 9.2.x, 9.1.x
•
Cisco BPX 8600 Service Expansion Shelf (SES) Release 1.0.1x
•
VISM Voice Service Module Release 2.1.01

Definitions
•
End of Sales—After this milestone date, CWM version 10.4.01 may no longer be ordered.
•
Discontinue Contract Renewal —The milestone date after which no maintenance contracts will be renewed.
•
End of Support/End of Life—After this milestone date, the software release is not longer supported by CSE and is removed from CCO.
