End-of-Life Announcement
Cisco WAN Manager Version 9.2.09

Cisco Systems is announcing the End of Sales and End of Life (EOS/EOL) of Cisco WAN Manager Version 9.2.09 on Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX platforms, with an effective date of January 8, 2002. Cisco customers will continue to receive software support for a period of two years until January 8, 2004.

After July 8, 2002, Cisco WAN Manager 9.2.09 will no longer be orderable from the Cisco Connection Online (CCO) or Cisco Marketplace. Cisco WAN Manager 9.2.09 will be replaced by Cisco WAN Manager 10.5.10. Service-affecting bugs found in Cisco WAN Manager 9.2.09 will be resolved in Cisco WAN Manager 10.5.10 and subsequent releases. Since Cisco WAN Manager 10.5.10 is a superset of all prior Cisco WAN Manager 10.X releases, all features supported by Cisco WAN Manager releases 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.4.01, 10.4.10 are also supported in Cisco WAN Manager 10.5.10. Customers are encouraged to upgrade any release 10.X systems to 10.5.10 as soon as possible.

Cisco WAN Manager 10.5.10 can be used to manage the following product releases:

Cisco MGX™ 8230, 8250, and 8850 PXM-1 Software Release 1.2.00, 1.1.40, 1.1.34

Cisco MGX 8850 Software Release 2.1.70, 2.1.60, 2.0.15

Cisco BPX® 8600 Software Release 9.3.35, 9.3.24, 9.2.40

Cisco BPX 8600 Service Expansion Shelf (SES) Release 1.1.70, 1.0.15

Cisco Voice Interworking Service Module (VISM) Release 2.2.0, 2.1.1, 1.5.6

Definitions

End of Sales—After this milestone date, Cisco WAN Manager Version 9.2.09 is no longer orderable.

Discontinue Contract Renewal— The milestone date after which no maintenance contracts will be renewed.

End of Software Support and End of Life—After this milestone date, the software release is no longer supported by CSE and is removed from CCO.
