Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector Version 3.x

Cisco Systems announces the end of life for the Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 3.x software (part numbers: NFC-SOSU-3.6, NFC-SOSU-3.6-UPG, NFC-SOSU-3.0, NFC-HPUX-3.6, NFC-HPUX-3.6-UPG, NFC-HPUX-3.0, NFC-SOSU-3.X-UPG, NFC-HPUX-3.X-UPG, NFC-HPUX-1.0, NFC-SOSU-1.0, NFC3.6) effective 02/19/03. The software will continue to be supported until the end-of-life date (see Table 1). All customers currently using Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 3.x will be able to upgrade to the Cisco CNS NetFlow Collection Engine, Version 4.0. The Network Data Analyzer version 3.6 (NDA 3.6) software will not be affected by this announcement. Cisco System Engieers can still download NDA 3.6 from the internal Cisco Web site at:

Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support and Cisco.com information will continue for the Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 3.x software, through Jan 18, 2006.

Table 1 provides the Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 3.x software end-of-sale and end-of-life schedule for all geographical regions.

Part Numbers

Table 2 provides the list of the Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 3.x software part numbers affected by this announcement.

Table 3 identifies the part numbers for the Cisco NetFlow Flow Collector, Version 4.0 software replacement product.

Cisco will continue to support NDA 3.6 until the company can provide a replacement for this software.
