Cisco MGC Node Manager 1.5 End of Sale/
End of Engineering Announcement
Cisco Systems announces the end of sale (EOS) and end of engineering (EOE) for the Cisco MGC Node Manager (MNM) 1.5, with an effective date of June 1, 2002. Cisco customers will continue to receive Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support for Cisco MNM 1.5 until June 1, 2003, after which all customers are expected to upgrade.
The Cisco MNM 1.5 will no longer be orderable from Cisco.com or Cisco Marketplace as of June 1, 2002. Cisco MNM 2.1 will replace Cisco MNM 1.5. Service-affecting bugs discovered in Cisco MNM 1.5 will be fixed in a patch or later release of Cisco MNM 2.1. Customers are encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

Upgrades
Customers interested in upgrading to Cisco MNM 2.1 should purchase a base license upgrade from Cisco.com. The existing Cisco MNM right to use (RTU) is version independent and does not require an upgrade.

End of sale—After this milestone date, Cisco MNM 1.5 will no longer be orderable and is removed from Cisco.com.

Discontinue contract renewal—After this milestone date, no maintenance contracts will be renewed.
•
End of maintenance—After this milestone date, no maintenance releases will be produced for the major release.
•
End of engineering—After this milestone date, the software release is no longer supported by Customer Success Engineering (CSE). All bug fixes and product enhancements will be applied to a newer release.
