IOS 12.2(7)DA Announcement
Introduction
This product bulletin describes the new features introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(7)DA for the Cisco 6XXX Series IP DSL Switches. New Features
The following key features are supported with 12.2(7)DA:
•
Bandwidth Increase on G.SHDSL Line Care and NI-2 Card: This release proides a software only FPGA upgrade that allows 20Mbps to be provisioned per G.shdsl line card in contrast to 10Mbps in prior releases. This upgrade allows full 2.3Mbps symmetrical provisioning on each port, subject to the customer's DSLAM configuration.
•Cisco 8xG>SHDSL Line Card Enhancements:
• Rate Adaptive Mode: In rate adaptive mode, the 8xG.SHDSL line card supports rates ranging from 2312 kbps to 200 kbps in 64 kbps decrements. The line rate is negotiated and then locked once the line has trained
•Annex Auto: The auto annex feature was added to the shdsl annex command. This feature allows the CO to detect and then select the CPI side annex type duirng training. Previously, the shdsl annex command cdould specify only Annex A or Annex B.
•Embedded Operations Channel: (EOC) is operational in the 8xG.SHDSL line card. EOC collects statistical information from the CPE and displays it through the show dsl interface atm command.
