Cisco IOS X-Release 12.1(3)XL
Introduction
This Product Bulletin describes the content and delivery information concerning Cisco IOS(TM) software release 12.1(3)XL. It should be used in conjunction with Product Bulletin titled, Cisco IOS Software Release 12.1T. 12.1(3)XL is a short lived Early Deployment (ED) release parented to 12.1(3)T and supporting the Cisco ubr905platform . This release contains all new features delivered in 12.1T up to 12.1(3)T.The platform and features delivered with this ED release will be immediately incorporated into Cisco IOS 12.2(1)T and subsequent Cisco IOS 12.2T releases. It is important to note that there are no planned maintenance releases for this ED release. In addition, please note the migration path to the latest T release. Customers should prepare to upgrade using this migration path.

ubr905 Support
The Cisco uBR905 cable access router is a next generation DOCSIS IP bridging cable modem that also offers the advanced routing capabilities of Cisco IOS software. It also includes an onboard hardware accelerator for IPsec encryption that provides significantly greater performance over software-performed encryption.
AS5800 Support
The 12.1(3)XL release for the AS5800 platform is a maintenance release of dial features for targeted customers.
